TRC Director-General, Mr Masanja Kadogosa, detailed the project’s scope when he met and held talks with Arusha Regional Commissioner (RC), Mr Paul Makonda, on March 25, 2025.
The Tanzania Railways Corporation (TRC) is in the final stages of building the Dar es Salaam to Musoma Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), to enhance transportation infrastructure for northern regions.
Its estimated cost stands at $3.3 billion (approximately Sh 8.27 trillion).
