Retired teacher Mrs. Apaikunda Ayo (61) and her son Mark Exaud (22), along with their driver Paul Sita (25), died on the spot when their new Toyota RAV4 crashed into an oncoming Esther Luxury Bus at Mdawi area, Moshi District in Kilimanjaro Region on February 1, 2025.
Mrs. Ayo, who had just retired from Imbaseni Primary School in Arumeru District, Arusha Region, was returning from Dar es Salaam after acquiring the vehicle with her pension benefits.
Mrs. Ayo and her son were laid to rest in their home village of Embaseni, Arumeru District, on February 4, 2025.
